Katja Ferfolja, head of Research & Development, has been working at Essentia Pura since 2024.

Katja plays a key role in the development of new formulations and also oversees the manufacturing process of the existing products. She makes sure that every product leaving Essentia Pura’s manufacturing facility meets the highest standards in the cosmetic and food industries.

She began her career in academia, specialising in the field of surface science with a focus on electron microscopy. Later, she transitioned to the R&D department of a dental company, where she was responsible for developing new materials. Driven by her passion for chemistry, nature, and well-being, she joined Essentia Pura to create products that positively impact and enrich the lives of others.

She values honesty, relationships, hardwork and encourages people to find happiness in their lives.

Apart of being a professional photographer, Jure Batagelj, has always been interested in and intrigued by the nature and natural products. The CBD fascinates him the most for its special characteristics. Jure is a content contributor at Essentia Pura with the focus on health benefits of CBD.

Valentin Mis is responsible for the preparation and review of all legal documentation, in line with the business perspective of respective deals. 

Valentin possesses a strong background in legal and managerial experience in various fields, including a top-tier Slovenian law firm, one of the largest European banks, and the largest alternative investment funds manager in the Balkans, as an example.

Valentin values honesty, hard work and transparency – both in relationships with colleagues, as well as business dealings with clients and suppliers.

As the founder of Tangible Growth, Andrej provides strategic assistance to clients facing challenges in positioning their brands and products. Additionally, he holds a position on the Board of the YTILI (Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative), is an alumnus of the U.S. Department of State, and contributes his knowledge as a Startup Mentor and Lecturer at the Primorski Technology Park and the Swiss Entrepreneurship Program (Swiss EP).

Andrej Peršolja is an expert in positioning and marketing. He partners with Essentia Pura, offering his expertise as a consultant for Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and serves as an Expert Reviewer for marketing-related materials.

Andrej is passionate about helping early-stage startups build their product foundations, and find that elusive product-market fit and scale. He shares his knowledge on the topic through his resource website.

Borut Osterman, Sales Manager, has been working at Essentia pura since 2019. He started his professional career working as a sales representative in FCMG and then moved to work as a Sales Manager at Essentia Pura, to follow his passion, which is purposefully driven sales and interaction with similarly minded customers.

Borut oversees the sales process and manages the team of sales reps. He is a very strong active listener, who builds trust and rapport with the customer, and uncovers their true needs.

Borut possesses a depth of CBD industry and CBD product knowledge he is up to date on market trends.

He values honesty, relationships, and proactivity, and has a goal to to further elevate Essentia Pura’s position as a leading player in the CBD industry and help create wellbeing.

Simon Sfiligoj is an expert in CBD manufacturing and extraction at Essentia Pura, leading the production of premium CBD products. Known for his mastery of advanced extraction techniques and commitment to quality, Simon plays a key role in ensuring that Essentia Pura maintains its reputation for excellence in the CBD industry.

Manca Bolčina, head of Research & Development, has been working at Essentia Pura since 2019.

Manca is responsible for the creation of new formulations and products along with Quality Assurance to make sure that every product leaving Essentia Pura’s manufacturing facility is fully compliant with legislation and meets the highest industry standards in the cosmetic and food industries.

She started her professional career working as a pharmacy technician and then moved to work as a lab assistant at Essentia Pura.

Manca is passionate about creating cosmetic, skincare, and nutraceutical products that are innovative, high quality and efficient. She wants to help people alleviate stress, help them focus, and help them sleep.

He values relationships, quality, honesty, and sustainability and has a goal to develop the highest quality skin care and nutraceutical products that make a difference in someone’s life.
